Disney sent me to Savannah, GA to shoot the live action remake of Lady and the Tramp, a classic story infused with love and kindness toward animals, redemption and second chances. The production design team turned back the clock to 1910. The animal training staff gathered as many strays as possible for the cast. The dog who played Tramp, Monty, was found in a shelter several months before production started. The dog who played Lady, Rose, got the glam treatment with extensions in her ears! It was brilliant going to work each day to be met by adorable canines….let the pets begin!
